me and my wife spent 2 days buyng diferents gps,so… the gps didn’t like us, the gps we returned it back, so simple ! we were not doing anything illegal, just being smart and taking our time to get the right one, so we went to RADIO SHACK,BEST BUY,AND TARGET, we try the following gps: TOM TOM, NAVIGATOR, NAVMAN, AND NEXTAR, they’re all sucked, so finally we found the right one,in TARGET, this one right here ( the ”garmin ‘nuvi’ 205″ that was it ! ,boom !

The 205W is the same thing, just wide-screen which makes navigating just that little bit easier…
I live in Thailand, and Garmin’s maps are unbeatable. This device is a must have especially if you live somewhere you are not familiar with (and lots of road signage is in a foreign language). This is the solution!

I picked up the nuvi 205 last week from Target. Doesn’t come with the usb cable which is essential if you want to get the latest free map downloaded through your PC and transferred to your nuvi (you get one free map download update for a limited time). If you don’t already have a usb cable lying around, you can buy one for under $10 at any electronics store. Overall, I’m very happy with this unit.

does it tell you to turn on a specific street name

This is the WORST review I have ever seen. This guy does nothing but blow hot hair for 10+ minutes. There are much better reviews around. He doesn´t show MANY of the important features people would like to know about. He needs to find a new line of work. He obviously flunked review 101 in school.

  13. demlasjr Says:

No, this can’t do it :)

  14. demlasjr Says:

    yes, in all European country

  15. demlasjr Says:
